The program will cover hot topics of ethics of lawyers using social media. It will start with an overview of platforms and their usage, move on to affirmative duties on lawyers and their online presence, advertising do’s and don’ts, how to use social media to build your case, and social media in trial. Topics will be intertwined with CRPCs and other ethics opinions. The focus will then move to communication skills during voir dire and the Trial Lawyers College method, which has a goal of inclusion vice exclusion and a point of view that is emotionally centered on the juror. This method looks at a different way of conducting voir dire by building a tribe with you as leader. Please join us for a Wine and Cheese reception following the presentation.
