Nominations Open for WLAC Officers and Board of Directors

The Women Lawyers of Alameda County Nominating Committee is developing the slate for the 2020 Board of Directors. Anyone who has been a voting member of the organization for at least one year is eligible to hold office.

We anticipate filling several open Director positions for the term beginning January 1, 2021. If you would like to be considered by the Committee, please submit a statement of interest and qualification of two paragraphs or less to [email protected], with the subject “2021 Board” by September 11, 2020.

If you would like to be considered by the Committee for the office of President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer, please also submit a statement of interest and qualification of two paragraphs or less to [email protected], with the subject “2021 Officer” by September 11, 2020.

Members may also directly nominate Officers and Directors by submitting to the WLAC Secretary on or before September 11, 2020, 5:00 pm, a written nomination signed by the nominee and not less than 5% of the current membership in good standing.
